Dunlop Super2 Series driver, Jordyn Sinni will make his debut at the famous Mount Panorama circuit this weekend 5-8th October in his #54 CarCity Commodore. Sinni, who had an impressive run at the Sandown event last month, is eager to have another clean round this weekend, racing under the Eggleston Motorsport outfit.

Although this will be the first time that the youngster has raced at the Bathurst track, a lot of preparation and studying of on-board footage will be his best form of planning for this weekend.

“I’ve only done a handful of laps around Bathurst, so I’ll have to be a sponge and make sure to soak it all up and take in as much as possible,” said Sinni.

“I’m really excited to get to Bathurst and for the opportunity to race there. It’s certainly one of the best tracks in Australia, if not the best track in the world. I’d be lying if I didn’t say I wasn’t nervous.

“We had a really positive and clean weekend at Sandown; so, my goal will be to do the same again this weekend. I’ll be looking to steer clear of any of the chaos and just doing my best to learn the track. Qualifying is always key, so as long as I can sit around the top 10, I’ll be happy.

“It will be a massive learning curve for me, a new track, reaching new speeds and of course managing the tyres. It’s a lot to take in, but I’m super excited.”

Sinni’s newly announced major sponsor CarCity, will continue to feature on his ZB Commodore for the duration of the 23/24 seasons, sporting a striking blue and yellow livery.

“We had a huge week leading up to the Sandown event, with the announcement of the new major sponsor CarCity. I’m very grateful to Ruvi (Herzog) and Tony (Stewart) for their support. I’m looking forward to promoting the sponsorship and hopefully it gives the CarCity crew someone to cheer for this weekend!” said Sinni.

Furthermore, Sinni’s sponsor Reckless Brewing Co. announced last month a limited-edition pale ale known as the ‘Sinni XPA’, available to purchase online in support of Jordy and his racing career. Located in Bathurst, NSW it was a perfect fit for this weekend’s event.

“A huge thanks to Jarrod (Moore), Grace (Fowler) and Alice (Wilson) for their support,” said Sinni.

“It’s pretty cool to have a beer named after you, all whilst in the lead up to Bathurst!”

Reckless Brewing Co. have special opening hours this weekend in honour of the Great Race; definitely a stop to put on your list if visiting Bathurst.

This weekend’s schedule will feature two practice sessions kicking off on Thursday 5th October, followed by qualifying and race 1 on Friday and qualifying and race 2 on Saturday.
